I am looking to produce shows on livestream. Easy to do with procaster or wirecast with one camera and a wireless mic set up.

I'd like to go beyond that but keep hardware to a minimum (since I will be on the road and not in a studio).

What hardware should I look into that I can hook up 2 or 3 cameras to via firewire or hdmi and also have a few audio inputs?

Any way to do a multi skype chat with 3-4 people with a few laptops (and have them hear each other)? Wirecast won't do it.... desktop presenter does not send an audio signal from a remote machine.
